A Night of Choral Excellence: University of Iowa Kantorei in Concert
Live in the Hanson Auditorium of the Washington Area Performing Arts and Events Center
We’re thrilled to welcome the University of Iowa Kantorei, the university’s premier choral ensemble, for a special one-night performance as they kick off their regional tour!
Comprised of 30 to 40 graduate-level vocalists, Kantorei is known for their artistry, precision, and emotional depth. Under the direction of Dr. David Puderbaugh, Director of Choral Activities at the University of Iowa, the ensemble regularly captivates audiences with a dynamic range of repertoire, from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary works.
This performance is especially exciting, as we are the first audience on their tour—a unique opportunity to experience their music at the very beginning of their journey.
Whether you’re a devoted fan of choral music or simply looking for an inspiring night out, this concert promises to be a moving and memorable experience.
