Strauss Shi plays the erhu

The Erhu is a traditional two-stringed Chinese bowed musical instrument—often called the "Chinese violin"—featuring a small snake- or python-skin covered soundbox, a long neck without a fingerboard, and a bow threaded permanently between the strings.

Kathleen Almelien sketched Strauss Shi during the performance.
