University of Iowa Kantorei

Kantorei is the premier choral ensemble of the University of Iowa, made up of roughly two dozen exceptional graduate and undergraduate singers. The ensemble presents four to five concerts on campus each year, as well as a number of off-campus performances. Presently embarking on a regional tour, the choir is performing for us as the first audience on their tour! Known for its interpretive depth and collaborative spirit, Kantorei regularly joins forces with leading professional vocal ensembles, including GRAMMY-award-winning The Crossing and Bach Akademie Charlotte, as part of its commitment to transcendent musical experiences.

David Puderbaugh, who serves as the Director of Choral Activities at the University of Iowa is their director.
